It's a very emotional Sunday for me. Well, went to my maternal Grandpa's house in the noon to visit my uncle who was diagnosed w cancer a year back. His condition now have worsened so much that the cancer cells have spreaded from his lungs to his brains and bones. The moment I saw his sunken cheeks and listless eyes when I stepped into his house, my heart was literally torn apart. He's as skiny as a bamboo I'm so afraid he will collapse anytime. The man who used to play w me, rescue me from my Grandpa's crazy tickles, buy me candies and chocolates, have now become very sick, very very sick. My aunties and cousins were also there and there's this common thing between us: We're all hiding our emotions from him. It's obvious that we're all heartbroken to see him in his current state but the fact that we still put on a facade and act like everything's gonna be alright is because we know he doesn't want us to worry about him. We know it's impossible for him to carry such a heavy burden on his own, but, the kind of helplessness we feel when we can only watch him cough and sometimes cough out blood, yet do nothing at all to help, it's really overwhelming. I really wish that the excruiciating pain will ease off at least a little to make him feel better. I'm so afraid that he'll just collapse and leave us though we all know death is part and parcel of life. I'm afraid because I've not exactly experienced the pain of losing a kin or a friend. I know I wouldn't be able to deal w such trauma. Still, I hope that if that day ever comes, he'll leave us all peacefully w/o any worries or regrets. I he'll stay strong. Dear Uncle, remember, we all love you.

Yeah, the GSC international conference is finally over. Been spending these two days at the national library listening to professors and researchers talk about Mr TanKahKee and Dr LeeKongChian, two great pioneers. The presentation of the 11 papers were rather boring as it was too high a level for us to understand. and Weixin, Meishan, Dionna and I were the only youths around. The rest were all old uncles and aunties and some of them were really weird, especially the aunty who kept on pestering people for contacts because she's an insurance agent. zzz. Meishan slept a lot, Weixin stoned a lot, Dionna sms-ed a lot, and I doodled a lot.

Well, baby's at Malaysia now. It's seems pretty long that we haven't met although he came to fetch me from library yesterday night, guess it's just that we haven't been talking/ seeing each other like how we used to see each other everyday. It's alright, I'm a big girl and I'm learning to takecare of myself when baby's not around. So to take my mind off him and to prevent myself from being emo, I went for retail therapy today after the heritage tour. Total costs on receipts add up to $72.55.

Why this photo? Because that's how I was feeling when I was in camp. I missed baby a hell load. I miss his smile, his silly face, his brown hair, his voice, all in all, his presence. Now I'm back from OGL camp. 3 cheers to welcome me home please? It wasn't that bad as I'd imagined because our groups are mixed&merged together so I'm no longer the only girl in the team. Ended up in team 3 w a whole big group of people and I'm super lucky because Uncle Jierong, Rahavan, Shila were from the same group as me during LTC camp. Of course, new friendships were sparked off, w people like Rebecca, Sabri, Kenneth, Aldrick and blahblahblahblah. But yupps, baby's always on my mind.

So ORA (operation red alert) games, we came in 3rd, awesome right? yeah. There was also house time, again, on behalf of 6th Phobos HC, I thank all the OGLs who lived up to their words & turned up for the camp. Mass dance was superbly cool cause we've learnt the new Floorfilla dance and the Ayer dance. and Phobos, once again, became the Mat house siol ! "Shake it like a phobos house member~" I'm trying to learn some melayu okay ! Aku sunggoh cantek !

The night walk, I tell you, it was totally hilarious because Rahavan, ChengKang, KK and me laughed all the way through. There was this fake female ghost in white in one of the guys toilet's cubicle and then one of us was supposed to dip our hands into the pail that's in front of her to get a note. So Rahavan kicked open the cubicle w CheeKean trying to scare us from behind. Then Rahavan asked the ghost "Eh, you chio a not?" "Who are you ah? Athirah ah?" Like wtf, Athirah's hair where got so long laa ! Then the ghost started attacking him and he got poked in his eye while I took the chance and did something brave, that is, to steal the note. hahahahahahahaha. cannot stand it totally, nightwalk was like so entertaining man. & yaa, Kenneth said I was a saddist because I laughed all the way while watching the movie "Silence".

MMM was super fun also w us doing the pompompompompom cheer so many times to earn bonus points. Then Sabri, Rebecca and I kept on joking about something which shall be kept as a secret between us. LOL. I bet the people on the trains and buses were wondering if we were nuts. Hahahaha. They should be having their finale night right now, ohman, I'm missing out the fun part. I wanna see what lame crapshit performances the OGLs can up w within 2 hours laa, must be damn funny for sure. Hope Team3 will do just as fine, go T3 ! I'm looking forward to the actual orientation, but there're just so many things for the HC to takeover from the councillors from now on.

So tomorrow will be the GSC course w the girls. Hahahaha. Finally weixintofu and meishanchicken is back from OCIP. Hope they had a lot of fun there hur. Leaving for OGL camp tomorrow. Well, as a house com member, I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I'm really not looking forward to the camp. Why? Because I'll be the only girl in my group. Damn, if I don't click well w the other 3 guys, then it'll be so boring. sigh. Let's just pray that things will turn out fine. Coincidentally, baby's hockey training camp falls on the same date as my OGL camp, so he can't really accompany me through sms during the camp. sigh sigh triple sigh. Lucky I'll be leaving on the second day's evening because of GSC course on wednesday.

To my lovely boy, takecare of yourself during hockey camp okay? Today at my house you said you'll remind me to take my meals and wake me up as usual during the camp. Really v v v sweet. BE AGGRESSIVE, B-E AGGRESSIVE !
Yupps, today was MSG's friendly match w team TJC and we were really aggressive, driving our opponents to keep in their own half for the entire match. Khai managed to use her fingers to count how many times she touch the ball and even went out of the goalpost to jog at the D-area when the match was still on. Good defensive work by Beehoon, Nirah and Yup. Good attacks by the midfield line and of course, our dear strikers Babe and Waner. hahahaha. But again we faced the same problem as the senior batch, all our chances were not converted to goals. There was this header that I took, not really trying to head it into the goal but I should have tried cause I only missed the line by only 0.231324324cm. That was how close man. Another chance, a solid switch pass from Jeraldine in the center, I sprinted like hell then opponents came so i passed to Waner but she missed that one touch. Had pretty lot of chances but crap, i just didn't manage to score. It was damn close. I swear I'll get em' in the next time round. Even the floorball people who were watching us from the tracks went "AWWWWW". Miss Lee also "AWWWW". ZZZ. Ended w a 0-0, referee was obviously kayu laa, teaching his girls in front of my face how to kick freekick, anyhow give ball say we foul throw when his own girls handball-ed. Hello?! freaking handball. zzz. But nevermind, i like the TJ girls, friendly and nice and sporting people. :)

hehehehehehhehehehe. Simple weekend spent w my dear boy. Saturday had a short training session w coach. How cool, coach came late for an hour but it's alright since he's coming down to coach us for free anyway. Familiarised w the position we're playing for tomorrow's match and as usual, I'll be playing as left winger. Then baby came to fetch me home. Rotted at home and I'm supposed to cook dinner but ended up sleeping till baby and I had to go to Northpoint to eat. -.- pig, yeah. Dined at Sakura, baby rated 5.5. heh. We went back to watch this lame chinese movie shown on channel 8 and tadahhhh, we fell asleep till this noon cause it was too boring.

Sundayyyyyy nooon, woke up and again, eat eat eat. Went to Northpoint's newly opened Japanese foodcourt for lunch. The ramen I ate was not exactly very nice, plus the service wasn't very good, stagnant queues and all. Dang. Baby's omelette rice looks pretty good though. & I saw this person that I'm really very scared of because he's bloody freaky that I feel all so awkward and uneasy w him arnd. After our lunch, went to baby's house and I fell asleep again, while he was playing dota. His parents came back and we went for dinner ! Lovely beef noodles at Jalan Besar that area, lavender foodcourt I think. Then we saw this weird angmoh who bought a bowl of dessert w/o eating it but just taking photographs of it. What a waste of food man, should offer it to me, I'll be very delighted to finish it up for her. ahahaha.

Back to punggol and baby took 85 w me cause he's been worrying about my health for these two days. How sweet baby, thanks a lot dear, really appreciate that. And now I'm home, damn sleepy thougb I've pretty much slept through my entire weekend. Got to sleep soon tonight cause tomorrow's the friendly match w TJC. Let's just hope tomorrow's game will be ours to triumph, that'll be a good morale boost before our intense training for A div next year. I hope I don't screw up so we don't have to go for hell training after match tomorrow. and our team have come up w smething among ourselves. If we win tomorrow, we'll go simpang to eat Roti prata. If we draw, we'll get fast food. If we lose, we'll have vegetarian food instead. Food's our motivation. Go MSG ! And coach, don't forget our bananas/tau huay !

hrgh. It's been a long day. woke up early for training but couldn't go for it because of unforeseen circumstances, yeah, cramps, damn suay. Rolled in my bed for an hour or so before I could get back to sleep. So I ended up being the maid in the house for the whole day. Yes mum?

yupps. I woke up, bathed, went down met baby and went to ntuc to get some cooking stuffs. Then he wanted to eat pasta for dinner so we bought the stuffs as well. Baby sent me home and bathed before heading to meet his hockey guys. So yeah, I rotted at home, ironed for hours, and yaa, done up the egg/crabmeat mayo sandwiches my brother was craving for the other day. and mummy came back w my brother from giant. I got to sweep and mop the floor. yadaayadaaa, already half dead from the awful cramps I'm having, brshhhh. After mopping, then have to start cooking dinner cause my brother had taekwondo in the evening. Dang, no rest, no rest.

So dinner's tomato pasta w mushroom and ham bitszx and parmesan cheese, w an additional piece of grilled chicken thigh meat. LOL. Wasted, forgot to buy some campbell soup or it'll be a real set meal people sell in cafes like breeks. hahahahaha.

SIGH. I bet Ethel, April and gang must be laughing when they read this post. The princess of theirs who never once went to the supermarket w them and carried stuffs/touched the stove/washed the dishes/did the serving is now yaaa, a part-time homemaker. What's happening to becks man. Nonetheless, satisfaction wins it all. -.-

Danggggg. Had a terrible migraine yesterday but fear not, it just bid goodbye to me after a jab from Mr doctor today. See, I'm all fit and well again. Most of all, I can sleep in peace now. Hurray ! Went to Tampines Mall this afternoon and there was a huge fuss in m)phosis earlier on regarding my shiny red pouch bought from F21 because the ladies working there fell in love w it. Checked the actual price of the m)phosis tote bag I bought online, heh, saved quite a bit, (tag me if you want the link okay). Then met baby after he went to trim his hair and went to get his hair dye and some other stuffszx that is not convenient to say here, don't ask why.

and then walked quite a bit to get baby's grip for his hockey stick. He chose this very gl colour, yellow banana fellow. Took bus 38 later on to get our asses to food expo, obviously, for food since we're both very big gluttons. yupyupps, the durian pancake was damn nice I swear. and thank god baby found this candy called "long xu tang", that I really really really love to eat when I was a kid. Hohohoho. These two is enough to make our trip worthwhile.

Hello earth, I'm over the moon now because my laptop's been revived this afternoon by my genius brightspark baby. If it weren't for him, I think I'll stupidly be carrying it all the way to Wisma for service. So the whole week of lecture's finally over. Started Maclaurin's series tutorial and it's crap. Now the idea of going to J2 is scaring me a great deal. Press on, hang in there.

Today's training was hell early at 730am. It's weird that I'm always one of the few earlybirds in the team though I live furthest away from the school. :/ alright. Training was cool, but tiring. After dismissal, Huihoon and I kicked around the store area and I accidentally headed the ball and it crashed the whole load of stuffs outside the cleaner's room. omfg. Then this lady inside the room "oi"ed us so both of us ran away and hid behind the walls. HAHAH. How bad can we get.

Back home, did nothing but youtubed until now. Listened to some songs that we used to dance to. Made me wanna jiggle a bit, heh. Anyway, heard that the bash ytd night was pretty fun huh? Too bad party girl's not there to party. I was at home watching tv w my baby. hahahaha :D

Alright, Ima go bathe and fetch that indianman from his hockey training already. Then we're gonna eat botakjones again. wheeeeeeeeeeeeee !

Sunday was a long yet fun-filled day spent w baby. He wokeup at 650 and appeared at my doorstep w his silly face at 8 somthing. Being my usual self, I opened the door for him and went back to sleep. HAHAHA. Then we went down for breakfast and I watched him play basketball w my stupid noobshit brother. They were so cute running here and there. Afterwhich, went to Harry's place and watch baby play dota and mahjong. He was on a real winning streak that day, probably because he wore my green cdc jersey. LOL. Went back to punggol and off we went w his family to Sakurs buffet restaurant at Tampines Safra. Food was relatively good and yup, the most heartening part is the eat-as-much-as-you-want portion. ehehehehe. (call me a glutton !)

So today, meridian j2s-to-be are all geared up, preparing ourselves to fight another war in J2. Yeah, extra lectures for the entire week may be a little texing, but come on, let's look at things in a more positive light. We'll be able to finish our syllabus earlier and that means more time to revise for the As. Surely it's gonna be huge compliment for all of us. MJC MJC GO !
Then my phone had to die on me after Chem lecture and I couldn't contact baby for the entire day. There's ogl camp briefing going on and I just couldn't find a chance to talk to him until it ended. Was a little sulky and down for the entire day because of this and yeah, seeing shades of black and white checkers occasionally, like so giddy.

Then training was brought forward to 4pm, so my plan to go to whitesands to get my socks w Huihoon failed. Waliews. But it was good in the sense we get to go home earlier to rest. yupps, training was as usual, full of nonsense. But today's highlight was on Athirah. Don't know why she's so high and lame today, probably because she forgot her breakfast but then again, maybe because she also ate too much after that.

What to do? We're the crazy Meridian soccer girls team. HAHAHAHA. Training schedule is out and only one clashes with my original plans for the holidays. Ohyaaay.

DAMN, I just got scammed by Alvin. Nevermind, I'm a nice person by nature so people will want to scam me. Ohyeah, and I'm a still very paranoid about strangers viewing my blog and friendster profile and talking to my friend about me. It's a real scary thing.

My mood's so much better now after hearing baby. Yeah, just that my legs are really breaking after today's training. Yupps. I miss baby oh damn. Will fly to see him tomorrow after lecture and gameproposal discussion w Phobos6. HAHA. I know you're reading this baby. *sweets*

Okay, Ima go and search for my Econs lecture notes for tomorrow's lecture but the thing is, I don't remember having a set of it. zzz.

Went to fetch baby today after his hockey training.
He's my "indian man" now. hahahahahahahahahaha.
Then I kept complaining I'm hungry so we went off to eat lunch.
Returned to baby's house and then off to town !
Don't know why he was so high on our way to town. Keep making silly faces and all.
Both bought a pair of shorts from Fleshimp. Finally used up the $10 voucher I had.
and then I bought two tees from Queen's couture, $139 dollars. It's 1 for 1 laa.
wheeeeee ! I want more shopping and that means, more money. zzz.

One side woman, the other, girl.
To perfume and heels, from ribbons and ponytails,

Okay, above's a poem i randomly came up with out of boredom.
If you actually understood it, well, i'm thinking,
despite how we grow up, how we change, how uncertain we are of the future,
we don't wish for certain things to change and we don't wish to have our loved ones taken away.
irony, yeah, but it's true, or perhaps, it's only me.
Inspired by the many incidents that happened to my friends and their families and also, by the fact that baby is away from me currently.
So y'all out there, cherish the people around you before it's too late for regrets because 'backspace' doesn't work in real life.

Ohyaaay. We've finally decided what to do for our 5 minutes OP group presentation today. Congratulate us please ! Went Sijia's house at Tanah Merah. Shaun and Weiting were late by 1 hour ++. Sijia and I patiently waited for them until we almost fell asleep (since i had insomnia agn the previous night and only slept at 3am.) Okay. Shaun was acting like a real idiot today, playing w my phone trying to unlock my PIN code, disturbing me abt my baby, fighting w weiting and scolding her "stupid face". Sijia should have just thrown him out of the house. -.-

Left later on and baby's family came to fetch me to go try out the "Da chang jin korea hot stone steamboat" at geylang. The place was super filthy and the floor was damn slippery. Ambience was not as great as we imagined. The food was okok only and the lamest part was that the entire shop was ran by some chinese folks instead of Koreans. So... overall, we blacklisted this shop. Hahaha. Nevertheless, it was nice eating w baby and his family. A v homely feeling. And today baby peeled prawns for me to eat, knowing I hate to do so. LOL. I'm gonna be spoilt really soon. Lalalalalaaaaaaa. I must say I'm really lucky to be quite pampered by the people around me eversince I'm born. Cheers to all !

So yeah, I'm at home now w my mummy and bro. Sister's off for some belated-halloween party. She'd better bring some chocs and sweets for us from trickntreats'. I have no idea what to do now. Nothing's on the tv. I'm alr completing my Chemistry tys homework, leaving only 2 chapters undone because I alr did em to prepare for promos (and hell I only got an E grade). I'm also half through Part one of Chem package. Call me your lady man. hahahaha. Maybe I should consider helping people to do their packages as a job to earn some extra cash.

hurhur. Beck's so damn bored right now. and when Beck's bored, she eats. So would any kind soul throw some Kinderbueno over? She's like having some madrush over it now. TYVM.

Off to chat with baby, for only his singing can comfort me in bed. :)
